Today has been a busy Viking day. First we made brooches and helmets using lots of masking tape and cardboard amongst other things , then we made costumes which involved a bit of sewing and a lot of layering of fabrics. After lunch we built walls using wattle and daub and then dressed up as vikings and did a lot of viking roaring on the school field. This has brought the topic of vikings alive for the children and been a lot of fun.
