Diamond Class

Diamond Class, which is made up of Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils, is taught by Miss Copperthwaite and is very lucky to be supported by a teaching assistant throughout the week. The mix of ages provides an ideal opportunity for children to learn from one another, support and challenge one another in an environment that welcomes enquiry, embraces challenge and finds opportunity for growth in failure.

As well as enjoying the classroom-based curriculum, Diamond Class are incredibly fortunate to have access to a beautiful outdoor setting; to make the most of the opportunities our environment presents, the class enjoy Forest School with Madeleine an afternoon a week for a whole half term, which supports the development of both practical skills and social skills, including responsibility, independence, teamwork and leadership.
